I had very little hope that these would work, but I hate the smoke coming up from Citronella Candles, not the smell just the smoke.I was very surprised how well they worked, I do have to put 2 on our smaller square outside table or one beside each person, but the make no noise at all, they take little room on the table(s), they are a talking point with our guests & I don't have to continually buy the candles or sprays that work temporarily ~ so they are a money saver as well.30 second assembly, and no more pesky flying bugs.If you want to have an enjoyable time outside, especially when food's involved...I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!
