I use these for grooming my long haired cat. Effective for getting rid of tangles and I am pleased with this set. Use the detangling tool carefully as it is quite powerful.

Used on both a Maine Coon cat and a Rough Collie dog who had both become a little tangled. It’s very good at removing the knots with far less stress for the pets than other grooming kits I have used previously.

This is one product I will not live without. I have a Lhasa apso mix who has quite long hair. I finished grooming him with a regular brush and then used the furryfirst. I literally got handfuls of hair. There is no pulling and he seems to like it. I’ve ordered another one for my daughter who has a yellow lab. No more daily vacuuming. You cannot go wrong with this product.

All I have used on my Maine Coon has been a metal brush, but as she has been getting older she cannot groom herself so well, so ended up taking her to the vets who shaved one side of her that got terribly matted. It cost £150. My brush was not efficient enough so I bought this set and it does the job magnificently, as I was considering getting her groomed regularly.

Both my cats have long hair. It's been super hot outside for them and they are shedding like crazy. The normal hairbrush I use for them gets a lot of fur off of them but it takes 2 to 3 minutes of brushing them. I bought this brush and it is a the BEST brush for these cats. In two to three brushes, it took out the equivalent of what the previous brush took in total. I cannot recommend this enough! It is a fantastic brush and gets the job done. Just when brushing, don't brush quickly as it takes out a lot of fur at one time and you'll pull the animal's hair too hard.

Oh my goodness this thing is incredible! Don’t waste your money on the Mars Coat King, this is the same thing for just a fraction of the price. The grip on the handle is squishy, and it molds to your hand to make a comfy groom session without any aching or burn out. It doesn’t seem to be cutting much hair, if any, but rather pulling out the dead hairs as well as matts, knots and tangles. I have a one year old Brussels Griffon who would need to be hand stripped, but not anymore! Her coat is double, and I can tell you that she is still long-haired after our first session but her hair looks and feels amazing and smooth! Lays flat over her back now! She was a little bush before I used this lol!!! I tried to get the hang of hand stripping but she hated it, and I just wasn’t any good. Now I won’t need to do it! I’ll use this once every week or two depending on if it’s shed season or not (spring & fall) to keep her hair under control. The amount that I got after one (conservative) use was wonderful! It’s so easy to use and very well-built. The price for what you get is phenomenal! It’s not great for arms, legs and head but I also bought the double-coat long hair Furminator for those areas and the two of these tools work magically together! So so so happy I decided on this unit rather than other similar ones out there. It’s a real blessing!

This grooming tool kit looks fantastic and worth every penny BUT I had to return it as my cat was NOT HAVING ANY PART OF IT! I'm sure a more placid, docile, friendly cat (or dog) would get along great with this kit, but it just wasn't going to work for us. Fast delivery so I recommend the seller 100%.
