We have a St Bernard who occasionally gets hot spots. When that happens, we shave the fur around the spot to let air get at it to help it heal.As a cold weather dog, her fur is very thick. These clippers were able to get through her fur with no problem. As far as noise, while they are clippers, it didn't seem to bother her at all.The clippers have 2 speeds, and when shaving to the skin, you can adjust the length of the cut using the dial on the clippers. There is a digital display on the clippers telling you if it's on low or high (using 6500 & 8500 rpm) and the battery percentage. It fits nicely in my hand, is lightweight and easy to maneuver.I haven't used all the attachments, since we don't "groom" her in the traditional sense. But for our purposes, this is a great tool to have in our dog care toolkit.

I recently purchased the Gagaciso Dog Grooming Clippers, and they have been a lifesaver for grooming my pets at home. I have both a large dog with thick fur and a smaller cat, and these clippers have worked beautifully on both. The blades are sharp enough to cut through heavy, thick coats without tugging or pulling, which is a huge relief since my dog has always been sensitive during grooming sessions. The fact that it’s cordless makes it so much easier to maneuver, especially when dealing with larger dogs that tend to move around during trimming. One of the features I appreciate most is how quiet the clippers are. My pets usually get anxious around loud grooming tools, but the low noise level of these clippers has kept them calm throughout the grooming process. It’s also lightweight and ergonomically designed, so it’s comfortable to hold, even for extended grooming sessions. The rechargeable battery lasts long enough to groom both my pets in one go, and it charges quickly, so I’m always ready for the next session. The Gagaciso Grooming Kit also comes with multiple attachments, which makes it versatile for different fur lengths and types. Whether I’m giving a quick trim or doing a full shave, these clippers get the job done efficiently. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s an affordable, high-quality option for anyone looking to groom their pets at home, and it works well on both large and small animals with thick or heavy hair. Highly recommended!

Scissors are a bit on the flimsy side and the bottle of oil that it came with was less than half full, but the clippers certainly work! In fact they have a nice and weighty feel in the hand despite the cheap plastic length adjuster. Love the little screen on the bottom that shows the remaining charge. Imo, every clipper should come with that feature. Unfortunately, I'd put the quality just below what you'd get with something like Wahl or Remington. The clipper head is actually more on par with what you'd see from a budget beard trimmer. For example, you can pop the head off at any length setting in order to clean the hair out, but it MUST be set back to "2.0" in order for it to be put back on. Otherwise, you'll struggle in vain for over 15 minutes like I did wondering what you did wrong. As for the metallic comb, it's great and same with the cleaning brush. The guards are a bit on the cheap side and don't have any safety clips on the back to secure them to the clipper. They're basically just held on by plastic tabs on the sides so I wouldn't press too firmly against your animal's skin. Charging time is on the long side too - 5 hours from 5% - but I got about 80 minutes from mine on a single charge. But that's with stopping and starting frequently trying to get my dog to behave. C'est la vie. Fortunately, they're a bit quieter than conventional clippers I use for my own hair, so startling the animal shouldn't be an issue.Overall, I think they're decent clippers for larger pets, but I might opt for something a bit smaller for younger or shorter animals. The instruction card is also of little use and doesn't even mention anything about how to clean the unit, hence my initial struggle. Case in point, it labels the power button as "Open the key". :S A dungeons and dragons clipper? Who knew. 3.5/5 from me.

So honestly, before even getting it close to pets I cut my own hair and beard. The clippers did awesome job considering I have really thick hair and even barbers's clippers sometimes will stuff up.Blades are super sharp and you get a replacement one. Love the adjustment option so you can set the length even without changing combs. What I don't like is the limited amount of combs included. It's just 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm. Even with adding base adjustment it's still difficult to get smooth fade. The noise - it's on medium level. Similar to my old clippers, not bad, not amazing.Oh, and the worst thing to me - proprietary charging plug. The clippers just take regular 5V so they should have just USB-C build in. It's annoying to keep track of another cable.

These clippers work great! I have a golden who gets long hair between his pads and on the ends of the top of his paws, which need regular trimming. I previously purchased a name-brand, battery-operated clipper and it did not do the job very well at all, and the (standard AA) battery weekend the power and ran out quickly. These rechargeable clippers have lots of combs and options, whereas the previous one was just on and off. These clippers work so well and make the job easy. Definitely recommend!
