This tool works really good and it take a few minutes to get used to, but it works really well

The tool is very well built. I wanted to like it. Sturdy solid and smooth. The problem is in the actual use. The arms are too short to leverage the jaws when in use. Would work better with smaller teeth and gear for less movement with greater leverage. In other words it's to hard to push.

Lots of times, when doing disk brakes there is a spring on the end that you really don't want to take off and it's preventing you from sliding your expander tool in from the end. These times happen quite often and I just want a simple tool that will slip inside from the front and push them apart. Well this is the tool! Beefy, simple, and fast. So nice, this is the best and simplest tool I have found. The two caliper hooks also double as a hanger for the tool. I put it thru the holes and hang it off my tool box. My only complaint is it's made in China, so hopefully the welds and metal holds up over time.

It does the job; I used it on my Silverado to push the front wheel brake cylinders out of the way, and it worked fine. Over time it needs some grease on the threaded areas to avoid chaffing, but this is true of most tools. I'm happy with the purchase and would buy again from this company.
