I really enjoy how firm this grip is. On every tennis racket I own, I immediately replace the stock grip with leather, I greatly prefer the firm feeling and tactile distiction of the bevels without having to look down.However, leather has two issues: weight and price. Leather costs about 3x what a synthetic grip does and often has the unintended consequence of adding 10-15g of weight. On some rackets I found that welcome for stability, but I'd still prefer to add my own lead under the buttcap rather than have the grip dictate a weight increase.I made this purchase after replacing the stock grip on my already quite heavy pure strike 98 with leather and finding it really messed up with the swingweight. I took off the leather and replaced it with this. Perfect solution for someone trying to get the firm feeling of leather without the weight to permit customization.I will say - I don't care for the feeling of the rubber from a tacky/grip standpoint, but I always wrap my grips with solinco heavengrip overgrips anyways so it's no issue for me. However, if you don't like to use overgrips then I suspect you will not enjoy this replacement grip relative to the feel of some others.

The sticky tape on the grip didn’t work and it’s slipped off the handle of my racket. Tried it as a more expensive, higher rated grip and sadly didn’t meet expectation

Bought the black one and this one. Black one is a grip. This feels more like a temporary replacment.

Good replacement grip. It is quite firm but you can feel bevels very nicely. it is somewhat between leather and more cushioned synthetic grip.I personally like the firm feel but it is not for everyone.

The grips in the photos are the older version, and the orange one sold here does not include the rubber band grip tape cover. Also note the Gamma logo on the grip itself is pressed in very deeply, so you can easily feel the logo when wrapped... a distraction for me.

As someone who have never regripped a racket, the instructions could have been a little more clear. Luckily, I had to regrip two different rackets and learned from my mistakes after the first racket.Product works great, just wish the instructions had been a little bit more clear.

What I love about the Hi-Tech Gamma Replacement Grip is that depending on how you wrap it you can make it lay flush or with a little depression between runs, giving you the ability to have finger notches. I love to wrap mine with finger notches so that I can get a better feel on my forehand and serve. The tackiness of this grip is perfect and I like that it does not have a pattern on it, which really bothers me with other grips. The only downside is that now I have to order my grips online since this particular grip is not carried by anyone in my town.
