The price was better than I paid some time ago for another replacement cap at Auto Zone for a 2007 Mazda 3. The only issue so far was that initially, the engine warning light stayed on when i replaced the old cap with it. But that resolved after a couple days. I've had it for a few weeks now I think with no further trouble.

My old gas cap for my mazda 3 2007 was malfunctioning, I'm taking about it doesn't click when I tighten the thing and need to use a wrench to tighten it cause its become hard to tighten, i bought this one and tighten with ease on my fuel tank, it clicked like nothing, very satisfied with this cap .

It did shut off my check engine light but a couple of days later it came back on ..so I'm sure it's not the gas cap it's something else

The only downside is it doesn’t attach to the car.

Worth the money. My daughter said as soon as she put this cap on her engine light went off. Only thing is I wish it had a tether so it wasn't so easily left behind when you have to take it off.

As the heading says, this gas cap "solved" the check-engine light (code P2404) in my 2007 Mazda 3... Great buy, at one-third the cost of the Mazda gas cap. If there is a thing missing here, it would be the 'ring and string' which holds the cap to the fuel door on the car... Removing this ring from the original gas cap and installing it on this one is not easy, or always possible... Oh well.
