I bought this tenor saxophone case mainly because of the price, it wasn't much for a rectangular case with extra storage space. When it arrived I was a little disappointed by how fragile it looks, I understand that sometimes we look for light items but I personally believe in the old school, "if it weighs a lot it's good and will last", the straps look fragile and finally I noticed that my Conn 16M tenor saxophone does not fit, there is an opening of almost 3 inches, it almost looks like a case for an alto saxophone.

My daughter walks to school and this has been a life saver. It was so hard for her to carry the hard case with her backpack on. She is only 12. She now carries this case oh her back and just puts her backpack facing front and around her shoulders. So glad I found this and gave it a try.

Case is exactly as advertised. looks amazing and the fact that it is a backpack style is awesome. Also affordable which is a major bonus!

We needed a replacement case for one of our high school tenor saxes, and this will work well for our purposes. These are NOT as protective as a standard case, so I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. In our case, it's for a student who is already careful, but is often commuting with a school backpack, a saxophone, and a bag of sports equipment, so the extra carrying options (shoulder or backpack straps) made it a great choice.Our older Selmer student model tenor sax fit well in the case, and we like the extra pocket on the outside for music and other accessories.We did have a good laugh at the warning on the box when it arrived, calling for "team lift". I think it weighs 5 pounds.
