Bought this for a friend's daughter's 10th birthday after she told me she wanted her birthstone. It turned out to be perfect! It is large enough for her to see the emerald chips, but not so big that it looks ridiculous on a 10 year old. She absolutely loves it! Great price too! I also appreciate that it's not very fragile, although I did emphasize that this is a piece of "grown-up" jewelry which of course she loved.

Very unique piece. I love it. It's just the right size and exactly as pictured. Shipping/delivery was super fast too. 4 stars instead of 5 because the hook on the chain broke after less than a day. The pendant is in good shape at least. Overall, worth the purchase.

Love the symbolism of the hourglass. Bought it when I retired to remind myself to make the most of the remaining grains.Bought 2 more, one for my sister and one for a dear friend.18” chain is flimsy and too short, so replaced it with a sturdier, 24” chain for the 3 that I bought.

My package came very quickly - arrived within a few days and I don't have prime. It's a pretty necklace, but I'll probably swap out the chain. It seems thin and breakable, but I'd already ordered another chain since I like my necklaces a bit longer anyway. Overall, I really like it so far!

I ordered this for a "promotion ceremony to high school" gift for my boyfriend's daughter. Her birthday is in May, so emerald is her birthstone. I liked that the hourglass design is symbolic of the passing of time, but life also continuing on. She is very pleased with the uniqueness of it and wears it all the time. The quality was as expected or better, after reading all the comments. I know some people were disappointed that the gemstone sand did not go through the glass like a functioning hourglass, but in my case it does work...adding a nice element.
