It's a little on the light side but I figure costs and shipping play a role in that. It works great with my 8yo who is using it for tackling and martial arts practice.

The rivets (metal ring things with the lace going through holding it together) at the bottom were separated from the bag when it arrived. They are quite sharp. I used it for the first night of a self-defense class and the stitching at the opposite end started coming apart. I can't imagine a lighter use than what I'm doing and it just doesn't stand up to any use apparently. Very disappointed with this purchase. Don't recommend it at all.

These tackling dummies are the cats meow. The Ladies love them as they can hit as hard as they can without worrying about injury to a fellow playmate. Solid construction and althou light the handles make up the difference as you can add the right resistance for the type of drill you are going to be doing.Coach Thomas
