Works great, long enough to set up our hammocks for most tree situations. We have not arrived at a campsite where we could not set up the hammock once…yet. Easy to use, hammocks give the kids someplace to relax and have fun in the summer in the yard and while we are camping. I feel they are 110% safe and secure in the hammock with this hardware. Very sturdy - I’m very happy with these replacement straps and clips.

I was just in Hawaii, so of course, I had to hang a hammock between a couple of palm trees on the beach. I had the Gold Armour straps for one hammock and the ENO (Eagle Nest Outfitter) straps from when I bought the hammocks. Both worked equally well for wrapping and protecting the trees, but connecting the hammock to the straps was SO much better with the Gold Armour. Instead of 6 loops, the GA straps have 18 places to hook your hammock.I could get the hammock hooked on exactly the right place so I could easily get in, and so it wasn't too low. On the ENO straps, our butts were 3" off the ground, the hammock was off-centered, or it was too high to comfortably get into.Plus, some other straps are limited to 300#. Understand that the forces of physics in a hammock are much greater than just hanging something straight down. Particularly if you are using a double hammock, get these straps.100% highly recommended!

Since it's arbor friendly (and often required) pu these hammock straps from Gold Armour. They work great and are strong & durable.
