I am remodeling a bathroom, taken down to studs and concrete, so a complete drywall replacement is required. I Simply HATE sanding drywall… the effort, the mess, the time it takes. I decided to try this and think it is worth the money for the places it works well, which is the big areas: seams and corners. Anywhere you can just run it in long, steady strokes and let the suction and sandscreen work for you, it’s magic. The suction takes the place of the force you normally have to apply, and the screen provided works well on the surface. Once I stopped trying to sand with it, using motions you do with sanding blocks/pads, and just went in long smooth strokes, it got easy and did the work fast. Especially good for ceilings, which really wear you out. What it isn’t good for is small spaces or detail work. It’s just too big/bulky to move efficiently, and you can’t see what you’re doing. I went right through to paper once before figuring that out. Also, don’t use the leading or trailing edge to sand, as it breaks right through the screen and leaves black rubber marks on the surface. So, larger areas in long, smooth strokes is the place this device earns its money, and in that use it shines. Worth the price for ceiling joints alone. The only wish is more than one sheet of sanding screen, but that’s easy enough to fix!

Quick delivery, easy to use & helps with the dust problem. Hooking it up with the shop vac was easy. The supplyed hose & the vac hose together allowed for easy, efficientWork flow.

I would not recommend this product because when you hookup the vacuum there is NO suction at all. I think when they designed it and built it they did not put the hole at the top of the handle for the vacuum to suck you have to drill it out. Bad design or quality control sucks

Well, ultimately I went back to my old poll sanding pad. This product does what it is intended to do, suck up the drywall dust, and does it well but too well. If you use a vacuum that actually sucks then you might have too much suction. The suction reduction valve on this tool does not reduce enough suction so the tool will suck/stick to the wall causing too much down force so you will end up with deep gouges and sanding lines even using the lightest grit sanding screen. I tried to reduce suction by drilling several 1/2” holes in the hose fitting. It helped but I still was not satisfied with the result, still too much suction. The idea of this tool is good but needs a better way to reduce the suction.

Hooked right up tp my shop vac. Sanding is easier since you do not need to press as hard - the suction does that for you. Large flat surface of the tool helps to get wall nice and flat. 99% of the dust goes into the shop vac. Cleanup after sanding is way, way easier

The odd looking handle configuration is actually quite urgonomic for sanding walls and ceiling. Obviously designed by someone who uses this equipment. I used it on drywall with 180 grit purforated sand paper. Working in a furnished room, most of the dust was collected in a shop vac. The small amount of dust which escaped fell streight to the floor. Only a very small amount of dust made it to the surounding furnature. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This model works almost perfect. Holds the paper well, the air channels are designed deep enough and properly placed to allow the dust to be sucked into the vacume cleaner completely. The channels work so well that depending on the suction of the vacume your using you may have to open the collar on the handle to keep the sander from sticking to the wall. Allowing the sander to be able to move. The handle design fits your grip well. It's solidly constructed. The only complaint is that I was sent a box missing one of the hose adapters. They're going to send me out the missing piece. Makes sanding drywall compound much less of a mess. They sent me the missing piece, I received it the next day.
