Drilled out old broken bolts on wood splitter wingg with this. Once it bits ate right through steel bolts but worked too good took out threads too. Didn't stop in time. Re made threads with tool and die kit.

Bought this to drill 16 holes, each 1/2" diameter in a galvanized steel trailer toungue approximately 3/16" thick. It worked better than I had hoped. The last hole went as quickly as the first. excellent bit

This thing drills right through sheet metal with out even thinking about it. It seemed to clog up a little in thick wood but in reality it is designed for sheet metal. I chucked it up in a drill press and it is perfectly straight. While the price is higher than some others out there, you are paying for the cobalt and titanium coating which should keep this drill sharper for longer. Good value overall.
