Our premise is that when you give someone a hammock chair, you’ve given them the gift of relaxation. Fair enough?
In turn, a relaxed person is a gift to the world, are they not?
Consider how much more pleasant the world would be if everyone were relaxed: the guy you accidentally cut off in traffic; the boss wondering when you’ll finish that slightly overdue project; people waiting in line or at a restaurant table – perhaps the line or table you’re serving. They’re relaxed and smiling, full of encouragement rather than criticism. They’re world changers!

I have no place for a hammock but this chair fits the bill. Love the free-swinging sensation and the soft rope is easy on any exposed skin. Very happy. :)

Simple design and natural color. Fits in nicely and doesn't look like clutter.Amazingly comfortable and relaxing. A wonderful cool sitting pod, with head-to-toe full-body support if desired. I'm a 5'10" 195lb male, and I can comfortably stretch my legs out in this hammock with my head and neck supported, with a bit of length to spare, though I find sitting up a bit to be more comfortable most of the time, which means my head is higher than the edge of the netting.In any case, there's something about being suspended, gently rocking with each small movement and feeling like gravity doesn't apply, that can't be beaten.I've mounted this hammock over the foot of a bed, where it will double as a pre-folded-clean-clothes container keeping the clothes pile off the bed itself (such is life), but I'll definitely be inspired to fold the clothes and empty it out as quickly as possible so that I can reward myself with some time in my reading cocoon.I didn't have a lot of height to work with, because of the bed underneath and a low ceiling above, so I took the hammock off the spreader bar (leaving the upper span of rope aside with the bar) and fastened its two ends to two rings attached to the overhead joist about the same distance apart as the two ends of the bar. That put it at a nice height for my space, but if desired one could lower the hammock a bit with a rope or chain on each end while still achieving some height savings without using the spreader bar or upper span of rope.The tassels are relatively minor embellishments but I prefer the simpler look of the hammock without them, so I left them aside with the spreader bar.Our four-year-old son loves this hammock too (for sitting in or pushing around), as does his one-year-old sister (with adult accompaniment), and so does his mom, who will get her own hammock installed in a bay window shortly. (This one's not exclusively mine, but I'm the one who will use it most in its present location, assuming the laundry's folded and put away.)

This is incredible. It's amazing for reading in, relaxing, and so good for my lower back/hip pain. It's really soothing and I'm so happy I got it. Highly recommend! Also it looks cute :)

I finally hung this thing and I love it! The hardest part for me was figuring out my ceiling anchor, but that is a problem independent of this specific product. Once I had my chain going, this was great!

Great chair but it’s not what it shows in the picture not the same pattern tassels are uneven and is made very sturdy

We bought this for our daughter's small bedroom. It is well made, sturdy, and very comfortable; it can be easily collapsed and hung to the side when she needs the floor space. More importantly, the company's customer service went above expectations to help us resolve an issue we had. Definitely recommend the product and the company!
