I've tried several different pairs of scissors on my fishing bag but none of them ever perform the way I want them to, and they tend to be large and get in the way. This little set of clippers is the cure for that. They're essentially nail clippers without the lever on them and they work perfectly for trimming mono, braid, and even the stray threads on my shirt! LOL the grip at the top makes gripping them with wet hands no problem and they cut effortlessly. The lanyard extends to about 30 inches and the addition of the 3 tools are a happy bonus. I especially appreciate the pin to remove the paint from jig head eyes. If I have a mortal enemy, it's the paint in the eyes of those hooks! I'm really happy with this little unit and I'll update my review as the season progresses, should I encounter anything that warrants it.

This line cutter is great because it is complete. My partner is already looking forward to hanging it on his fishing jacket. This one is Multi function; sharpener, line cutter etc. It is compact and hangs easily wherever you want. And the price is very affordable.
