bought this set because i really wanted a titanium cookset for backpacking, but also something large enough for cooking more during car camping. very versatile with 3 parts so you can opt to bring just one piece for a lightweight & simple option, or the whole set & cook multiple things at once. much more affordable than the stuff at REI, and seems to be of comparable quality. does discolor, but so will anything on an open flame so that doesn't bother me. a good width that feels sturdy over your burner & fits the MSR gas cans with room to spare

I've been looking at titanium cookware for a little time now, this HealthPro set represented really good value, when compared with the big name manufacturers.I've checked out the spot welds, as recommended by another review, and find no issues. I find the mechanical engineering quality of fabrication to be good.I have used on my spirit stove and again no issues. I plan to use on my camping holidays, on arrival at the camp site.I did feel somewhat proud to have this set of titanium cookware, when my niece's partner and their son had a look at it boiling a pan of water on my spirit stove, they said "that's titanium, really expensive!", I did tell them to have a look at Amazon, and yes told them it's really good value, but still kind of nice for them to make the comment (yes stupid on my part I know, but I'm only human).I will be using regularly over the coming summer, so I will update this review if issues develop, though I anticipate not.

I gotta say I quite like this set. Very light and seems to be complete enough to handle most cook camping needs for my wife and I. Boiling water or any freeze dried meals is no problem. Frying anything requires lots of attention because in a second you can burn food you are frying. Keeping the pan a good distance away or what I plan on doing is finding a scrap piece of 1/8” aluminum to put in between the pan and stove. I think that will distribute the heat more evenly. Fits a fuel tank and mini stove for transporting. I take it biking and hiking. Love it for its versatility and light weight. Glad I spent the money.

Took the 800ml pot out into the field for the first time to cook on my brs3000t. The pot performed very well. the 800ml is a great versatile size for ultralight back packers who want to cook in something bigger than a coffee mug. Super light and no warping or bending with moderate pressure applied. I also did the magnet test and the magnet didn't stick. As far I I can tell this is real titanium. Not sure if the pot handles are silicon or rubber, but there was no sign of melting even when the handles became quite hot while using my stove.800ml pot weighs 98 g, 1.2 L weighs 119 g, and the small frying pan weighs 74 g.

I thought I would write a quick review of the cookware set I just received.I saw someone using this set on YouTube and liked the size of it. I often camp with my son and the larger containers work out well for us.The set arrived quickly and was well packed. It was exactly as described on Amazon. The kit is larger than many, but since it is titanium it is still fairly light. I think it weighs around 9 ounces. The frying pan actually doubles as a lid, which is pretty useful. The pots can be set up as a double boiler, which we like as well.I haven't really found anything about this cook set I didn't like.I did remove the rubber on the handles as we often set or cookware right in the fire. Easy enough to do.I also drilled a couple of holes in the larger pot so I could fix a wire bail for hanging.I would recommend this kit for anyone looking for a little larger cook set.It was well priced, well made, and exactly what we needed.

Really great titanium cook set for 1-2 people. Perfect for the ultralight camper/backpacker/hiker. I take this on my hiking picknicks with my wife. The whole set weighs the same amount as one average stainless steel pot. If you plan to go titanium or ultra light this is a great start.

I shopped for awhile before deciding to purchase this set. I'm just getting into backpacking, I have no experience with cooking on the trail. In making these equipment selections I'm relying on the reading of reviewers experiences and what does and doesn't work for them.Quality is definitely 5 stars and especially for the cost. I saw only a couple reviews that thought it too thin or flimsy. Not at all. They are lightweight -which for backpacking is desirable and a plus.I read that the handles are not titanium. Hence their rubber (are they silicone ???) covered insulators. Titanium cools off very quickly. This alteration in materials obviously helped keep manufacturing costs down. Titanium does not release toxins when heated / cooked in as with other cookware materials, the handles are not necessary TO be titanium. This therefore would be a good place TO cut costs.I have not had opportunity to field test these so I cannot speak on there cleanability, or experiences in cooking various food/s.As for the functionality of the coated handles not getting melted or burned when over a flame, canister stove or wood / camp fire -I did read where some chose to cut them off and some used care so as not to have problems. I plan to use care with respects to keeping away from flame so as to have the benefit of the insultors in handling them when hot.No markings on the pot, another way to cut manufacturing costs. I read others made observances where measurements could be determined by levels in relationship to the placement of the handles. In my pics the small pot has 2 C of water, the large pot 3 C, then again pictured, lastly with 4 C. Hopefully these show it is possible to gauge levels by using the reference of handle placements.Speaking of handles, they are not spring actioned -I'm sure that's another way to keep manufacturing costs down, but neither are they loose or 'floppy'. There is good tension on them. As to whether in time with regular use they do loosen, can't say.Lastly 'size' ...some reviews thought they were 'too small'. ??? Volume capacity and dimensions are given. Where reviewers can offer real life use experiences in context to capacity and size when cooking specific foods and meals -that is a personal use matter and without your own experiences you're going to have to imagine best you can by the information these reviewers offer and share. I found their pictures also to be helpful in practical imagining for my potential use. For this reason I put common kitchen utensil next to the set to better view proprtion and scale.Personally I am not a fancy or big-time cook, on the trail especially. I just want to get the job done. At the same time I didn't want something that might be too small a capacity to have useful purpose. I wanted one pot at least 900 ml in capacity. I was gonna buy the Toaks 900 ml with flat lid (wide and short version = more stable) at $45 or get this set with 1 pot a little smaller capacity and another pot a little bigger capacity. For $5 more I chose this set. I imagine I'll take only smaller size pot with lid. The lid can double as bowl to eat from. Sometimes I'll be solo, but I'll be prepared in cooking with a hiking partner too.I like the mesh carrying case, I saw a review that thought in not sufficient to handle wear... it is a mesh fabric, lightweight, but not 'cheap' in my opinion. Overall this set is of a quality that could easily sell at a higher price. I'm glad it does not, like most of us I need the best bang for my buck!A side note, my significant other saw this set and was very impressed, he said he was jealous! He WAS going to buy a highfalutin name brand, pricey set... this has changed his mind ;)

I used this set for two seasons and it got the job done. IMO the frying pan is too deep and the lip at the bottom makes it annoying to clean. For the price, this was a good buy if you are cooking for more than one person.

Good value! Pots are rather small, but some people want that. Made from lightweight, durable, and healthy titanium, as described. Handles are maybe a little weak. I've used over fire/stove, it worked well.

Excellent cookset. Works great. Extremely light and seems to be made of good quality titanium, just be carefully to not make any dents. Make sure to dry the pots after use because I left a few drops in one and when I packed it and left it sitting for about a week the water that was left sitting turned brown and made a rusty mark at the bottom. After wiping it hard it came off.It fits my MSR Isopro fuel canister, firesteel and stove (etekcity stove from amazon as backup) all inside. Very happyI do wish a cup was included in replacement of one of the two pots (not the pan) since the pots are very similar in size. Otherwise I am very happy with the purchase. Price is great too.
