Like some others have said - if you have a 57 inch Samsung G9 - this arm is more than capable of holding it up. I've tried quite a few but the build quality and sturdiness of this arm is extremely good.

I have a bankers style desk with a closed back. I had 2 monitors before mounted to some cheap, low profile stands and it wasn't an issue until I purchased this crazy monitor and stand. The stand is solid, but if you have a desk like mine, you're in for a bit of a ride. To avoid doing anything crazy, I tried using a TV wall mount after reinforcing the back of the desk with brackets. The TV mounts I tried were unable to keep this monitor from tilting forward. I even tried machining holes in the title mechanism but the wall mount itself was still causing the monitor to droop forward. After reading many reviews, it seems this is the only stand that can handle the tilting of the monitor. However, the only way to keep the screen at a reasonable distance from my face was to situate the arm as far back as possible - clearly an issue if your desk has a closed back like mine.I had to cut a notch in the back of the desk which had to be quite large so that I could swing the arm out far enough to place monitor on the arm with the VESA mount. This necessary as the VESA mount sits at a ~45° angle before it gets loaded. Hence, you need to come straight down with the monitor held at a ~45° angle for the VESA bracket to meet up with the "hand" of this stand - you really really need all that clearance from the desk to pull this off. Of course, you need the stand to swing all the way around and end up sideways (see first pic) so the bulk of it can sit behind the desk and keep the monitor as close to the back as possible. Hence, the very large hole. The "hand" of the mount which connects to the VESA adapter is also quite large and pushes the monitor around 5" closer to your face. Again probably not a big deal if you don't have this kind of desk but to me it was a serious nuisance. For me, the only way was to have the stand go sideways (see pic). This makes setting the center of the arm (and hole by extension) really tricky. Your center will change as the arm gets loaded down. For me, I had to:1. figure out the desired horizontal center of the desk where I want the the monitor to sit. Mark it on the desk backing2. figure out the vertical center point on the desk such that the monitor would be just touching the top (under cabinet doors). Mark it on the desk backing3. You now have an "x" on your desk backing where you want the center of the monitor to end up. You still have to compensate for the mount. Loosen all tensioners on the stand and stage it on the desk. Push it down with your hand so that the "hand" of the stand meets your center mark from 1 and 2. Mark where the stand base ends up and draw a line around the stand arm profile.4. Tell your wife everything will be ok and cut a massive hole in your desk while she watches in horror. It looks great and I love the monitor. There is no easier way, it took me 3 days of suffering to reach this conclusion.

This monitor arm was packaged very well, assembled easily, and works solidly. The tensions of each arm are adjustable, and it handles a 34" monitor like a breeze. I wouldn't change a thing. Only limitation is the monitor must weigh minimum 22lbs. Not cheap but you do get a quality product you can trust.

it is a solid Arm however the Pivot is loose and there is no way to tighten it, it holds the 57" lightly and is subject to shaking but wont prevent swiveling/drifting by itself , I sent an email to support weeks ago and no response yet, this arm is not for Samsung 57", do not waste your money and expect support from this company - I had to pay for another Brand for their Magnus heavy duty , the new purchase solved this specific monitor's hunt for a solution and so far that replacement is the only arm that worked for Samsung 57"

I recently purchased a Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 Monitor, but found the included stand took up too much desk space. To resolve this, I bought the BEWISER Heavy Duty Aluminum Single Gas Spring Monitor Arm, which claims in its manual to support my monitor. However, I have encountered significant sagging and occasional drifting, where the monitor shifts to the left on its own. I followed the installation instructions carefully and tightened all components as much as possible. In order to stabilize the monitor, I had to place an additional item beneath it for support, which I feel should not be necessary. Overall, this monitor arm has not met my expectations.

I went with a few other recommendations before this one that did not pan out for me... this one is the only one that's held strong. It's a little tough to adjust on the fly, but I may have to just loosen it up a bit at some of the joints. No sagging! If you've got a 57 inch Samsung Odyssey, this seems to be the only monitor arm up to the task.
