Great mount but I would recommend stacking washers behind it to not bend the mount but besides that it fits great and installs easy. Great value

I reused some steel from a spare mount for a bit until it snapped and then went looking for a replacement. This one is perfect! It's strong, thick, and a solid connection for your CB antenna. Install is a simple two bolts and then bam it's good to go.Highly recommended and definitely worth the price. No reason to spend more for such a simple bracket.

I didn't install this exactly according to the directions. Doing that would have caused the antenna to hit the garage door frame when I parked the Jeep. So I installed it a couple of inches lower.I did take off one star for the ease of installation. Yes, it is very easy to install once you have removed the heavy spare tire. (Which is even worse when you have to put the spare back on the Jeep).Anyway, it is on, is sturdy, and is holding the antenna just where I wanted it to be.

Fits good on my spare tire carrier. Only gripe I had was that it didn't come with spacers so that it stays at a perfect 90 degree angle.

I was impressed with the antenna mount the minute I took it out of the bag. I was not expecting something built so heavy. This will definitely hold up and had such a great price point you can't say no.

Because the tire carrier is not quite flat where this fits to it, seems like spacers could have been supplied for a rock solid fit. It works, but a bit of a cludge of an install.

Fitted to my 2008 Wrangler JK. As supplied this mount does not fit properly, due to it fouling the reinforcing spars of the wheel mount casting. The solution is to use a pair of 5mm spacers, which I cut from steel tube (although you could combine washers to achieve the same result). I also had to replace the 2 stock bolts with slightly longer ones to accommodate the spacer and mount (which is also 5mm thick). The bracket/mount is very well made and does the job effectively - just watch out for the antenna clearing the spare wheel, which shouldn't be an issue for a whip, but something thicker like a firestik may be in contact, particularly if your tyres are 245s or bigger.In summary, a well-made robust utility bracket that should really be supplied with spacers and longer bolts for correct installation.
