Material:
The product is made of carbon steel. It has long lifespan and can be used safely.
Concrete Sleeve Anchors' design allows them to anchor into concrete, brick and block. Turning the nut pulls the working end of the sleeve anchor up through the sleeve, expanding and anchoring itself securely in the masonry, solid concrete, brick or block.
Easy and effective to operate.

I used three to hold up a fuex mantle. (The center horizontal beam) Roughly 100 lb. Drilled into stone. Everything feels solid. I am about 190 lb and I can put all my weight on the mantle. So they handled a minimum 290lbs.

These anchors are well-made and have some sort of zinc finish that should help ward off corrosion. It's nice that they come with both standard and lock washers. They hold tight, and the little tabs on the sleeve help keep them in place while being expanded by the bolt. I'm using them to anchor posts to a slab for a free-standing wooden carport.I have to dock them a star for not including any instructions. Even the installation pictographs they show in the listing are not really accurate. If you're putting these in concrete, you'll need to have or borrow or rent a decent heavy-duty impact drill. The process:1) Drill a hole the diameter of the sleeve, and at least as deep as the sleeve plus the projecting bottom of the bolt.2) Blow out any dust/debris in the hole3) Temporarily remove the lockwasher, run the nut down to the flat washer, and tap the assembly into the hole, leaving the amount of thread you need above (you'll also gain a small bit there when you tighten it later). The deeper you can reasonably set it, the stronger your bond will be.4) Remove the nut and washer. Take a sleeve from another assembly, or something the right size (like 1/2" copper water tubing, or maybe even a thin screwdriver) and tap the sleeve farther into the hole, until it's set against the wide bottom of the bolt and maybe even expanded a bit at the bottom.5) Place the item you're attaching onto the bolt, replace the flat washer, lockwasher, and nut, and tighten down until it's as snug as you want it.

I got these 1/2" anchors for securing metal 6X6 post brackets to a concrete slab. The anchors are very well made, using carbon steel. I can tell by the weight of them they are made from strong hardened steel. They are slightly different than other anchors of this type that I've used, but same principle. These have prongs that stick out from the sides of the friction sleeve which helps hold everything in place while the nut is tightened. I like the addition of those. Drill bit size is 5/8". These are great quality anchors.

Since these are not stainless steel I would not use them in an area that gets rain or water exposure. Sure, they would last for several years in the weather, maybe even your lifetime, but I would rather get something more appropriate for the circumstances. But other than that these work great for anchoring items in concrete. I use them to anchor posts in the concrete floor inside an open area of a workshop and they are working great.

Everything was there and the sizing is right. I used them to anchor my air compressor to the floor and couldn't ask for better.
