The Hougen HMD904 Portable Magnetic Drill is designed to produce superior holes quickly and efficiently. The HMD904 is a drill of choice for all-around metal fabrication. Lightweight, powerful, and versatile. The HMD904 can drill holes up to 1-1/2” in diameter and 2” deep. Features include pilot light for low light conditions and greater hole accuracy, a two-stage magnet which engages full power only when the motor is turned on which increases magnet life, ergonomic housing, slot drive arbor system and positive slug ejection. Many accessories are available for turning the drill into a portable machine shop including drill chucks, tapping, countersinks, pipe adapter and more. Made in the USA.

Fantastic tool. Prior to buying this I ordered a cheaper mag drill, but found it unusable. So I returned it and ordered this Hougen.The Hougen HMD904S has been great so far. Well made, easy to use, powerful, adaptable. I cannot come up with any negatives to say about it. It addresses all sorts of difficult drilling situations I constantly encounter with my projects, that in the past often tried to hand drill and wound up screwing things up.No more. I now wish I had bought a quality mag drill years ago. Incredibly useful and flexible tool.
