I got this item for my son's 9th birthday. The important thing to consider with this item is that both the ball and glove look and feel cheap, the fake leather being low quality and not well assembled over the light up ball.However, my child is 9. He does not notice or care about quality control and likely wouldn't notice the difference between this item and one of the highest quality. He does notice, however, the ability to play catch at twilight while getting an extra does of dopamine from the fun and adjustable lights this ball provides.I appreciate that it uses a standard USB c charger. This is very convenient as this type of charger is already strategically placed throughout the home and we do not have to worry about storing or locating an alternative charger just for this.If I had realized the quality of the product, I would have ordered the ball on its own. I got the set with the glove despite my son already having one so he could have a back up or spare for a friend. But with the cheap look and feel I wouldnt purchase it again. Luckily, my 9 year old didn't notice or care and loved this gift.

Great little baseball set! The glove was a bit smaller than I expected. The write-up says for boys 8-12 but I gave this to my 9 yo and it's borderline small (and he's not a large kiddo at all). I cannot imagine this being for a 12 year old! The light up ball is super fun. We took this camping and it was great to toss around once the sun started going down. It's a little disconcerting to drop it on concrete (we were tossing it on the campground road and of course didn't catch it every time!) but the ball seemed to hold up fine! The charge seems to hold well.

This was a good gift! It might not be the best quality product out there, but for the price and understanding that it’s more of a toy, it does the job. The glove runs a bit small, but it fit a 4-year-old just fine. The material of the glove isn’t premium, so if you’re looking for something long lasting or for serious play, you might want to consider a professional one.As for the ball, I really liked that it’s rechargeable, so no need to keep buying batteries. It’s a bit harder than regular baseballs, which makes it clear that it’s meant more for light use and fun rather than serious sports. Overall, a fun and decent toy for kids!

This doesn't feel or look like an actual ball and glove a kid would play with. It seems more like a novelty item. Very inexpensive looking, the glove feels like plastic, not very sturdy. The ball about the same, it's just slightly more fun because of the lighting effect, it can be charged with USB cord included. High price point for the quality of the product. Not happy.

I recently purchased the Light Up Baseball with LED for my son, and it has been a fun addition to our outdoor activities. The baseball is an official size and feels like a real leather baseball, which I love. It’s weighted well and has a solid feel, so it performs just like a regular ball in terms of playability.The 9 different lighting modes are super cool, and the glow-in-the-dark feature is especially awesome for evening games. My son loves being able to play at night and still see the ball clearly. The LED feature is rechargeable, which is a big plus since we don’t need to worry about replacing batteries. Charging is quick and easy.The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is that the ball can sometimes be a little slippery when it's really humid, making it a bit tricky for younger kids to grip, but overall, it still works well. The included glove is a nice touch too, though it's not the highest quality, it’s great for casual use.All in all, this is a fun, innovative baseball, and my son enjoys it a lot. Perfect for night games and a unique gift idea!**Wish they made this for a lefty for my other child - HINT, HINT vendor!
