This fits very snug (as it should). It would help prevent damage if the tool were to be dropped or if something falls on it. It's cheap protection for the expensive tool.

Product packaging was labelled as a W7152-Boot, but there is no way it was, it's for the IR mid-size impact instead. Don't waste your time having to send it back.
