This is a great product if you have an adult dog. When we got our puppy our kids weren't too excited about picking up the dogs poop, so we were excited about this tool to help them. However, this is a lot more trouble than it is worth, especially with a small dog. The tool is not the correct size for small dogs, the bag attached to the tool is a very good part of this item, however, it will only work for larger dogs poop.

Your kids bothering you for a dog? Then get them this to help scoop the poop. This is great for little kids and toddlers. Bending over and scooping can hurt your back so get someone smaller to do it for you. The scooper works great and requires little effort. I'm very happy with this product.

When I took this poop scooper out I initially was impressed. I like the design and I like that it wasn’t too big to take on our walks.It also has a clip that I can use to attach it to my leash so I was really pleased about that, Howe within two day that fell off.It came with two rolls of poop bags and a convenient spot to store and dispense one roll of bags when needed.It was when I took it on my walks that I became disappointed when I realized that it’s not very effective at picking up the poop. There’s no designated spot to anchor the ends of the bag so it tends to slip off while scooping up the poop. Also when I didn’t grab everything and went to scoop again all the poop falls back out of the bag.

I ordered the dog pooper scooper to inspire my self to pick up her dogs poop. (Yes guilty, I sometimes forget to pick it up.) The scooper works ok. I'm afraid or disgusted to get poop on it. But, it works and you just got to be careful when you pick up the poo.

It’s compact design is great to toss in the car for trips. I like the storage for the bags. It appears to be of a decent (but not super durable) plastic material. It opens and chomps closed easily. It’s a smooth plastic, so safe to give a wash on a regular basis. I think that would help it wash off easily.I can’t see using it on a daily though. It’s so super short. Unless you’ve trained your toddler to scoop the poop. I am under 5’ and it’s super short for me. Really great size for toddlers. Not that I am suggesting child labor though, of course.

Very happy with this pooper scooper - it's nice and compact, and is really easy to set up. I appreciate the integration with the bags. Understandably, you'll be bending over to pick up the poop considering how short the handle is, but it sure beats having to carry around a giant device if your back is up for it. Great price for what you get here as well.

I wasn't sure about this poop scooper at first. I have a long-handled rake/broom set up. But I'm glad I tried it.I like having the bag holder built in. I remove the bag and put it over the mouth instead of feeding it through. I wasn't sure it would pick up multiple piles (why don't dogs go in just one spot?) from my 10 lb. chihuahua. I found if I grasped the pile then turned the mouth up toward the sky, I could use it several times. It works okay in the wood chips, although it also picks up some chips. Again, point it up to get several piles in it.I like not having to "touch" the pile with just the baggie.I find myself using it more than the long-handled scooper because it's easier to hide by the front door. Grab and go.

Nice tool to have on a walk. It’s not a light weight scooped, it had a clip to attach to your leash but I find it’s heavy on the leash. The handle seems to stick so sometimes you have yo use some force to get it to open. The handle also Jams where it won’t initially close, it does eventually slam shut. It’s noisy you can hear it clamp shut. As for what it’s supposed to do, as long as the handle doesn’t jam it open, you can arrange a little bag in it so you don’t have to touch anything, just aim, open and scoop. Comes with a good amount of bags and had a section you can hold the bags. Also comes with a spare roll of bags. It’s nice to have, especially if it’s a day your dogs not having a good tummy day and you really don’t want to touch it, even through a bag .it’s very easy to clean afterwards.

Nice enough compact poop scooper. Downside of the lack of a long handle is that you have to bend down obviously. Its decently constructed of thick hard plastic, the mechanics can be a tiny bit creaky but works well overall.Its closed by default and you pull the trigger to open it which is a good design, means you dont have to keep holding the trigger to keep the poop from falling out. It snaps shut rather strongly, so it scoops pretty well. The bag dispensing mechanism isnt bad either, it continuously feeds bags into the schoop.It works well enough and does its job.

Quality made, functional, does a good job, bags for waste collection are provided, has compartment for clean doggy bag storage, to keep the scooper clean, I recommend mounting the clean bag into the scooper, use it and the job is done and the scooper stayed clean and ready for next pickup. Makes walking the dog job less of a shore and more fun.

I have a couple of dog and I already have a poop scoop, but it's big and bulky so I decided to try this one.The built quality is okay, but the seems are coming apart in the bag compartment, it hold up when the cap is on.I like that it's more compact, more portable than the ones with a long arm.The down side is that you have to scoot down to pick up the poop.I find that the scoop doesn't open wide enough.I also find that it's difficult to put a new roll of bags into the bag holder/dispenser. It's a very tight fit so I ended up removing a couple bags to make it easier.I use it to pick up poop in our backyard, and since it's winter I let it sit a bit in the cold so it makes it easy & less messy to scoop up. I'm not sure how well it will handle softer loose poop in summer.Overall it's an okay product, but value wise I find it hard to justify that it's almost twice as much as the bigger longer scoopers.

My old dog is acting up lately and sometimes he poops inside the house. This scooper is very handy for cleaning up.It has great quality, a built in bag holder and small. It also came with an extra roll of bags. Easy to store with other cleaning products.
