I love this little hibachi! I have a kamado grill/smoker and Humphry's smoker but this is what I use most. Perfect for a couple of steaks or chops. Super solid cast iron and what a sear!

I also have full size woodchip and charcoal grills, but this little guy is my favorite for a small family of 3 to 4, we usually cut the meat into small pieces, and it works great this kind of grillSome tips - put the grill on top of brick, otherwise, it can burn whatever you put it on, also because of the small size, the sizzle spills oil around the grill, so put something like a cardboard around it to keep the ground or table clean

Ich habe schon lange nach Gusseisen Holzkohlegrill gesucht. Ein tolles Stück.Mann kann auf dem Holzkohlegrill grillen, draußen kochen Tee berühren Wasser kochen und backen....... Tolle da ran ist das ist aus voll Gusseisen wenn man ein mal Aufheiz kühlt sehr langsam.

This is a pretty decent (fire bowl) cast iron hibachi grill that's well for the most part well made and well-constructed without visible defects; however, there is certainly room for improvement.For those who aren't aware of what hibachi is; it's traditional Japanese cooking device that literally means 'fire bowl'. It's basically a small or personal stove heated by charcoal; well, I'd call it a personal grill I guess. It IS fairly small in comparison to ordinary grill and it's suitable for 2-3 people. Surely it's NOT limited to more people but I wouldn't wanna leave others hungry waiting for their food (trust me, you don't want others staring at you and ask with their eyes 'is it ready?').Although it's described as being pre-seasoned, it really is NOT, at least not for me so you should do the needful as always before using it to maximize its lifespan. There are 2 levels of height adjustment that can be made for the cooking grate though I'd just leave it at the highest as I normally do. It also has detachable cooking grates which appears to be nice but I don't know what purposes it really serves since I've never not used all of 'em unless it doesn't have a fire/coal door (which it does) and I need to add more charcoals.Though, no grate hook of any sort is included so you will need to get it separately if you need one (don't think it's necessary for this particular grill, I'd just let it cool down first). The draft door works well and of course is used to control the temperature. I do find that the fire door is a bit too small and it's not exactly that convenient due to its size. I'd like it to be 'taller' and move the draft door to the side so they ain't on top of one another.All in all, this is a fairly decent cast iron hibachi grill good for 2-3 people that's for the most part well designed and it is well made. It's somewhat reasonably priced at $180 for what it provides; though, there are quite a few cheaper alternatives that are, well, made of cheaper materials and certainly not as well made as this one, but they are significantly cheaper (if that suits you better).

After choosing for a long time, I finally decided to buy this grill.Sure enough, it didn’t disappoint us. We were really amazed when we opened the package.Although it is cast iron, the workmanship is very fine, which can be called the perfect combination of roughness and fineness.The packaging is very careful. For such a heavy product, I did not hear any metal collision sound when handling it, and each part of the product is well protected and well spaced.This grill is divided into two tiers. The upper is cooking grate and the lower is fire grate. The cooking grate has two adjustable heights. Coals are easy to add through the fire door. The draft door is adjustable to control the temperature. Awesome design!It’s small and exquisite, suitable for 3-4 people. It’s quite perfect no matter it is used in the backyard at home or outside camping.A very recommended product!Worth buying!

I bought this to replace a Hibachi that was getting too frustrating to use. If you have ever had one, you know how the wooden handles burn and fall off. I needed something about that size. This is perfect. It's well designed and well made. The simple but well thought out features make it a pleasure to use. Excellent heat control and I found the reversible grill plate worked best on the legs for cooking distance from the coals. The seller responded promptly to the one question I had. This is heavy cast iron and will literally last forever. Easily portable but needs to cool overnight before moving it of course. No need to look further. I don't think you could find a better grill this size.
