Ball chairs provide a different sitting experience than regular chairs. They force you to sit up straighter and many people simply prefer them over regular chairs. We provide all of our chairs and balls with a 1 year guarantee. As an additional bonus, we provide an exclusive exercise ball measuring tape that takes the guesswork out of inflating your ball. Sitting on an exercise ball while at home or work promotes flexibility, coordination, motor skills, core strengthening, and balance. It may take a few days before your body becomes accustom to sitting on an exercise ball. Start by using it 10 to 15 minutes a day and gradually work your way up. If you have had back problems or injuries, make sure to consult your physician or therapist first. Note: We provide a small pump for free for you to have a way to inflate your ball. However, exercise balls require a lot of air and it will take a lot of pumping with the free pump. So, you may want to consider purchasing at this time a high volume air pump, especially if you use exercise balls a lot or have other things you often inflate, like pool toys or air mattresses. Search YouTube ("isokinetics inc.") for our exercise ball inflation video.

Excellent chair but the casters are cheap and do not roll well. Used as a reception chair and everyone loves but complain it is tough to roll behind the desk.

Zero star. Doesn't roll on carpet, ball falls through, very awkward.

After only a little over a years general use of this chair on a wood floor (I am 5'4" 134 lbs.), the back has completely fallen off the joints it was welded at. No response from the seller when I complained.

I like the concept but the ball is inflated all the way and it still slowly pushes through the ring. There should be some kind of pan or strap on the underside of the ring to keep the ball from pushing through.

I sit on this for a few hours each day at work as I've been told it is good for core strengthening. I have lower back issues so I tried a balance ball but because I am always turning around or reaching behind me for files the balance ball wasn't an option unless I wanted to get up and down every few minutes, so I thought this being on wheels and having a back piece to push off from would solve the problem of not being able to turn around while sitting. It failed as the casters (wheels) do not roll well, even when put on a plastic floor mat. I still use it for a few hours each day but it is always a huge relief when I switch back to my regular office chair. A regular office chair moves much easier and is more comfortable for my back.

The chair is working out well. On suggestion I would make is a strap across to prevent the ball from being pushed through the frame

This is the second week I've used the ball chair. It does take about a week to get used to it. My hips were starting to sing sweetly at the end of the first week but lounging on the couch and taking a road trip over the weekend, made my hips very unhappy when I sat back down on the chair at work Monday. You do have to find your "comfort" spot in order to use the ball correctly, and I wouldn't wear a short skirt while sitting on it because your legs do have to be apart to sit on it correctly. But, this is a great chair for posture and back pain!

I've only been using this chair a short while, but so far I really like it. It's a lot more comfortable than I had expected. I need a chair with some height, and most similar chairs were too short, but this one does adjust (somewhat) and the tallest setting works perfectly. I can't speak to the toning aspect yet, but I know I am sitting up straighter. Part of that is because this chair doesn't allow me to curl my legs around and under as I used to do. The price was reasonable, the ball is fine quality (it was awfully wrinkled when I first got it, but it has smoothed out), the back is actually a nice feature. I didn't put mine together, so I can't say how hard that is -- except when I opened the box I could see immediately I needed to enlist some help. My handy son built it for me and had no trouble. So far I recommend it.

got this earlier this year, and love it. it does take awhile to blow up with the hand pump, but hey - bicep exercises! i don't use it all the time... I alternate it with my regular office chair every month or two. it's definitely worth purchasing (great value); even my mom is interested in getting one now. if you have a thick rug, you may want to get one of those plastic floor mats to put by your desk so this chair rolls easily over it. the lower-back rest is great, and the adjustable-height wheels were a relief (i'm 5'8" so my needs would be different than someone who was 5'3", or 6'2" like my boyfriend). i also love to lie back over it when my back feels stiff or sore (after all, it is a fully-functioning fitness ball -- which is a bonus). i got mine in red, but there are a variety of colors to pick from. give it a shot!
