It keeps my Prosecco bubbly. That’s its job and it does it well.Update: Ah, it's all gone horribly wrong. Went use it on a bottle of Prosecco tonight and stopper disintegrated. Went to use the second one in the pair and that broke as soon as I pushed the lever down in the bottle. Hero to zero. Downgraded to 1 star. I'm disappointed and now have unprotected Prosecco going flat as I speak. Must finish bottle soonest, cannot have flat bubbly. The clue is in the name.

I had some of these that I purchased from BevMo over 5 years ago that recently just broke. Up until then they were resilient, made a strong seal on any bottle, and you couldn't pull them out without unlocking it. You could literally pick up the bottle from the stopper. These were garbage. One broke on the first use - the plastic snapped in half. The other made a seal, but it was weak, easily pulled out, and my bottle lost its carbonation. Unfortunately, it's not easy to buy these anymore. The search continues....!

This is my second time buying these, only because my friends took them because they are that good. These fit every bottle of champagne and Prosecco I have ever bought (and I generally just buy what is on sale) and when you open it a few days later it not only sounds like you just popped a new bottle but the bubbles are unbelievable. I can not recommend this enough. I love Prosecco but don’t always have enough company to finish the bottle. This is the best thing I have used. I have very expensive and “beautiful” products that are sold to be exclusively champagne stoppers and they are beautiful but completely flop. I can’t say enough good things about this. It may be plastic and have limited colors but it WORKS.
