These headphones don't feel very sturdy due to the plastic construction. Maybe it's just me but I find the bass a bit strong so they would not be accurate for sound monitoring. However, for watching movies, YouTube videos, MP3s, they are adequate. The cord is long enough and the full ear coverage and light weight make them quite comfortable. I would not travel with them but they should last a couple of years just for home usage.

For $30 CDN these are not bad they have a wide soundstage and frequency range is there although a little veiled.

For the price of the headphones the quality was as expected. It's not as good as JVC once was, but they'll do for a back up pair, which what they were intended for.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He had previously owned a pair of JVC and LOVED them, and this is why we bought a similar pair. Unfortunately, he says these are not nearly as good as the other pair. The sound is "okay", but they are not very comfortable to wear for an extended period.

Great headphones for the price. Sound is good. If you have a larger head, you may find a bit uncomfortable- no padding on headband and limited maximum adjustment. Okay for the price, but I prefer the Sony MDR-XD150 for this type of headphone; better comfort and better sound.

Not my favourite JVC headphones but are pretty good. A little too big and I did not read the description properly before ordering as the cord is WAY to long for my needs...I use them for listening to my phone music on the subway.Because the cord is so long, I have to stuff it under my hoodie before I zip up my coat so only a portion of the cord is visible.

They are very clear and loud ( if u like it that way) but if u are one who likes big bass they are not for u. For the money they are awesome.
