These speakers were used in a recent install I did on a 2001 ram. Any reviews here saying these speakers don’t sound good or”pop” at full volume are not doing proper install or a system. You can’t expect to just throw speakers in an old truck and expect much. Especially with the dodge infinity system having built in amplifiers on the speakers, these will lack without them. That being said… I used them in a full install, new HU, EQ, 12” sub with its own 600w amp, and these speakers powered by a 1600w 4 channel amp. They sound great! The most certainly have plenty of bass if you set your lpf and hpf and crossovers properly. Make sure to dial in that gain. They are not super loud… they have plenty of sound though, if you tune your system properly you should only run at 3/4 volume max anyway.. so, final verdictFit was decent, I got speaker baffles which gave me just enough clearance for the 6x9s on the front windows, otherwise get1/4 spacers. You will have to trim for tweeters. Dremel would be idealSound quality is great. GET AN AMP. And run all new speaker wire if your running an old dodge. And do your research. Find something that can push their full rms. That’s how you’ll get the most out of them. Don’t expect them to rattle your mirrors off. They pair well with a sub, you may want to consider getting 6.5s for the rear for more oomf if no sub. I may upgrade anyway in the future.Overall 7 out of 10 if paired with a decent amp.

Sound sucks in a factory rig maybe an amp and head unit would help??? I’m not much of a speaker guy. These weren’t the easiest to put in my 99 dodge. No good connectors for the job and the brains for the front speakers got zip tied on.

Prefect replacement kit for my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 most speakers fit as expected. Minor trimming required for tweeters nothing drastic once trimmed and installed look excellent. Would highly recommend this kit sound quality is beautiful.
