Defective Part. After waiting nearly a month for the parcel to arrive, I open the box and noticed not all the holes are punched out. No Quality Assurance. Really annoyed with the seller and Amazon!

I did like the skid plate and it was a snap to install. The problem I had with the seller is that the price was reduced on line before I received the item but the seller would not honor the adjusted price. Also delivery was 6 weeks! I will not buy from them again and do not recommend them.

The factory original "skid plate" broke one winter on a large chunk of ice, so I wanted to get it replaced with something a bit sturdier. Since the GM part is basically just a thick piece of plastic I figured it would be pretty easy to find something better, and it appears I was correct. This product appears to be well made and installation took me less than 5 minutes. I have yet to test it off road, but I'm sure it will hold up nicely. Looks better than the OEM gray plastic cover, too, so bonus points for aesthetics. Not sure what GM/Chevy is trying to charge for a front diff skid plate these days, but I'm sure it's more than this cost.

This will fit a 2022 Colorado V6. Holes lined up perfectly 5 minutes to install. Much better than the plastic one on the vehicle. I prefer this to GM’s OEM after market skid plate because the OEM is silver aluminum and twice the cost. I prefer the underneath to be blacked out and indiscreet not stand out. This is thick steel and powder coated black. Heavy duty protection for sure. My only concern would be rust over time, we will see, but it looks awesome from the front with the air dam off.

Plastic OEM eventually broke apart. This is a massive upgrade and took about 10 minutes to install.

This shield is not meant for a 2018 Colorado with a 4.3 engine! The front holes line-up to the radiator support frame. But the back two holes don't whatsover line up to the rear frame! To make it work properly I used my drill press to mark the transmissions aftermarket skid plate. To successfully install this skid plate. Yes I should have returned it but I had the tools to make it work.

Swapped out the stupid plastic OEM junk for something that will actually do something. Super easy install.Update (5/24/22)- Unfortunately, just learned if you ever want to install the mid-plate (part# 84352136), this will NOT line up with the holes. You could drill into the mid-plate, but it's not as thick & heavy as this part, so I don't know how much it would flex.Ended up selling this part & ordered the stock front plate (part# 84731654).Took off one star for this issue. But if you just use this alone... it's still bomb proof.
