90 Degree Angled Illumination
These light tubes are built to securely fit under the lip of your truck's tool box. And with 90 degree angled illumination, the bright white light produced shines out over the interior surface of the tool box, allowing you to see everything inside. Standard light strips would only project light straight out from the underside of the tool box right in your eyes, or point the light straight down along the lid. Magnetic Switch for LED Tool Box Lights
The included magnetic switch allows the lights inside your truck's tool box to turn off and on when you need them. Don't worry about the lights staying on all the time, potentially draining the life out of your battery. With this switch in place, the lights automatically turn on when you open the lid and turn off then you close it.

They are extremely bright. you get exactly what is in the box easy to set up you can pretty much see at about 100 ft past your truck with these lights I’ll do a video of that in the next few days but definitely worth the money for sure and quality is awesome and they fit just right . So if your looking for a set of tool box lights check these out it worth it

I bought these for my Weather Guard. I'll have to buy another set for that, because as soon as I tested them I realized they'd be perfect for an underhood light, which I'd been meaning to do for a while. Stuck them as high as I could on the hood without interfering with closing, hid the wires under the heat shield, zip tied the wires tight to the top and bottom of the hood strut to keep it from pinching when closing, and connected it. I ran the positive directly to power, and the negative is connected to a pin switch I mounted and grounded. Now I have a ridiculously bright automatic hood light. The wide 24 LED design is fantastic, because no matter where I reach in the engine bay, there's always light coming from several different spots, so it's never blocked out by any shadow. I'll have to see how the adhesive holds up to the temperatures, I used Raptor adhesion promoter but the heat may be too much. If so, I'll have to glue them with something that can handle it. That's not the company's fault though, it wasn't intended for this. I'd give it 10 stars if I could, and I'm definitely getting another for my toolbox.

Installed these today and love the results so far. Great lighting for the tool box and back of the truck too. The lid switch was a little tricky to get lined up for my box but love the fact that the lights come on when opening the lid. We’ll see how they hold up but overall very pleased with the purchase.

Install is fairly simple. Just a peel and stick. I used baby powder to help identify where to place the second half of the magnetic switch. I used an add a circuit fuse to an empty fuse slot so I have power even when the truck is off. I did drill a hole in the box to run the power wire and filled with a rubber grommet to prevent rubbing of the wire.tips: give some thought as to where you'll ground the lights before doing the work, clean surface with alcohol or 3m cleaner and dry!!!Been installed for a few days and the adhesive is holding fine the the AL heat. Light is not blindingly bright but gives off the perfect amount of light find what you need and read tool markings with ease.As you can see from the pictures that the lights can be spaced to fit a box up to 74" (size of my box, #protech) and provide perfect light. (One light shows up brighter just due to angle)
