Couldn’t ask for a better line cutter. Haven’t done a lot of the scissors as they’re a bit stiff and almost need two hand to deploy scissors. Ur the ceramic cutter on opposite side…….. amazing. I was sceptical about braid or certain lines/materials. But I’ve yet to find string, rope or line that the ceramic cutter doesn’t slice through with ease. 1/8 tar twine wouldn’t even know u tried to cut it just like hot knife through butter. Price is kinda hard to justify as you can get many good quality scissors for 15$. But the convenience of clipping onto hat, having it right there always is a bonus

Cuts everything but braided line, that takes a couple times to cut. Nice and compact so that’s good, makes it easy to use. Still good to have in the tackle box.

It’s tough to actually use and clip down. It is sharp enough tho and does cut my braided line without issue

I have been running a pair of braid clippers on my bag for years. After 2 days using these cutters on Morrow Point with our guide Irah, I purchased these while still on the reservoir. They're absolutely wonderful and have made cutting braid even easier. They are probably the single best fishing tool I have bought in the last 5 years.
