You buy the sand at most hardware store (in Home Depot 50 LB of sand costs ~$5). 2. Open the zipper and double Velcro and fill with the preferred amount of sand. Ensure you do not overfill the bag, for proper sealing; make sure you use clean sand. 3. Close the VELCRO and roll it down 3-4 times. 4. Close the zipper. 5. Enjoy your training!

My first sandbag for fitness was an oblong and it always leaked through the internal cloth bladders, and they are just super awkward to do some of my prescribed workouts. This sand bag holds exactly 100# (I used pea gravel) and it takes abuse. Zipper cover works great and the side handles are well sewn - no issues at all.

I have a 150lb and a 100lb bag. I do a ton of slams, carries and static holds with the 150lb and the 100lb bag is a good alternative for a 100lb kettle bell. Getting the first bag of sand into the bags is the only thing i dont like about these bags

Got this to train for the Spartan race sandbag carry. Filled the 50lbs one up and was pleasantly surprised with how well it seals, how nice the material is, and how functional the handles are. Overall happy with my purchase

Didn’t last more than 2 months and/or 5 workouts. Do not buy this, it’s low quality and didn’t even last a handful of workouts. From day 1 zipper was constantly coming lose and on my most recent workout it burst at the seem so now has to be throw away. Absolute garbage, spend the extra money and buy a rogue or ruck bag.

I really like this sandbag! The material feels really sturdy, the handles on it make it easy to move around and it can take a beating. I use this sandbag for over the shoulder throws, sand bag over bar loads and as a substitute for an atlas stone. Definitely better than the duffel bag sandbags. Those are good for light workouts but if you do more strongman type of workouts this will be for you!
