This small adapter can fit onto a hot/cold shoe of a camera or camera's cage or can mount directly onto a tripod with a 1/4 screw. The magnets on the base grab the camera about as well as the original DJI mount and the fit is great - very easy to lock and unlock from the camera.I'm using the adapter it with my DJI Action 4 and it fits perfectly and holds the camera really well. The tilt angle of the adapter is adjustable although not lockable - the adjustment is pretty tight, however this is not meant to be used for action shots and on big bumps the camera position would change. For what's intended, this works great. Definitely one of the best adapters I got so far!

In the past when I have been shooting street photography, I so often wished I had an action camera easily attached to my larger mirrorless camera so I could also record first-person video footage of my adventures. This quick release adapter from the GODAQIOZ store offers this in a classy way thanks to its the unique clamp style lock-in connectivity, notable on the most recent iterations of the DJI branded action cameras.I use this cold shoe quick release specifically with the Osmo Action 5 Pro, though it would work well with the Action 4 and 3 as well. It is a a hard plastic type of material in black colour with red aluminum clips, that seems durable and is super-quick to install onto either the top flash hot shoe port on your mirrorless camera, or onto a camera cage, for example. From that point, you just snap your action camera into place using the quick release mechanism.This is a simple and specific use tool that makes life with action cameras so much easier, particularly if you want to combine them with your photo camera. 5 stars.
