I purchased this lock for the gym to keep my stuff safe in the lock while I hit the weights. It does the job very well and I like this it's a combo lock and I don't have to carry a key.This would probably be great for its purpose as a travel lock as well.Enjoy :)

The lock is very flimsy and very cheap. Still...it did the job at the gym anyway so I didn't bother to change it. BUT...luckily they had bolt cutters at the gym because the lock seased after one month of INDOOR use! Amazon sent me another one (thanks), but I don't trust it at all. The new one feels a little smoother, but you can still feel it works funny and is very very very low quality. Do not buy.

This lock is small and good for securing lockers and more. Though it does seem easy to break off. The lock is very very easy to reset once open so ensure u have the numbers set to the code u want before u re-lock it

Built cheap, hard to see the numbers, but the biggest issue is that while it might seem like an advantage that the code can be changed, the way that process is engineered makes it very easy for the lock to change codes inadvertently.Twice in the first week of use at the gym, I was unable to open the lock because the code changed by accident just in the bag. Useless, threw it right in the trash

I really like this lock it’s perfect size to snap on to my gym bag, not too heavy so I can put in on my shaker bottle when I don’t bring my full bag. Easy 3 number combo so don’t need to worry about losing a key, seems solid. I bought a second one because I lose at least one a year.

The lock is small, light and compact. Very durable. The issue is that the numbers had to be lined up perfectly or it wouldnt open.Last week, I had to get it cut because it stopped opening up while I was at the gym. I hope master lock can rectify this.

Bought this for a backpacking trip through Europe to use on hostel lockers. Worked perfectly. Did not encounter a single latch that this didn't fit perfectly on. Combination lock was perfect, since I feared losing a key. Found it tricky to open the lock in the dark since I couldn't see the dial, but then I decided to scramble the combo in a specific pattern, so I could align them by memory.This lock is not the absolute most secure option—obviously!—but it's perfect for a quick lock up and looks solid enough to prevent thefts of opportunity.

Not the beefiest lock made by Master Lock, but by far an easy lock to use. As many of the reviews say, this lock is not a luggage lock, or not sized for the majority of suitcase made holes for locks on the zippers/compartments. I like the ability to change the code and the simplicity in which to do so - just make sure you try the lock off of what you are locking first to make sure you have the right combination. I set the lock but apparently failed to verify the numbers were aligned to what I was setting the lock to an viola a worthless lock. Fortunately I had all the time in the world and after tinkering with the lock it opened up and allowed me to reset the combination to the correct set of numbers. As some of the other reviewers have stated, if you push down on the lock while it is at a right angle and move the numbers, you'll change the code, so try it before putting it on.

I bought this product several years ago and it worked well. However, I lost the lock and order a new one about two weeks ago. The new one was a dud. I used a couple times successfully. However, the third time I used it the lock seized up and I was unable to open it. The timing was pretty bad because I just got out of the shower and had all my clothes and valuables in the locker. I had to head to the gym front desk in a towel and slippers. I was afraid I was going to have to walk home in a towel and slippers and hope that I could get into my house without keys and cellphone as the gym was getting close to closing. Luckily the gym staff was able eventually open it by using bolt cutters. Now I am on the market for another lock and afraid of getting caught "naked" by buying another dud lock. Wish these locks could be more reliable, not sure what product to buy, any recommendations would be appreciated.
