Your cart is empty.The Master Lock lockout hasp with vinyl coated handle and locking tabs has a heavy gauge (1/16") steel jaw that closes to form a 1/4" diameter shackle held closed by two pry-resistant locking tabs and up to six padlocks secured through a scissor-action handle. When this hasp is closed, the two halves of its handle overlap like scissors, and the six holes in each half of the handle align to create six locking holes, any of which, when blocked by a padlock (sold separately), obstruct the hasp's jaw from opening and allowing access to the locked out device or energy source. Each locking hole accommodates a padlock shackle up to 9/32" outside diameter. The steel jaw is zinc plated to resist corrosion, and fits into latch holes 5/16" or larger. The handle is coated with non-conductive red vinyl to improve grip and protect equipment from scratching. This hasp is for use as part of a lockout-tagout (LO/TO) safety procedure required at facilities where a device or energy source needs multiple-person authorization to be accessed safely. When used according to manufacturer's recommendations, this product is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. Lockout-tagout (LO/TO) safety procedures, as defined by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), require that lockout devices be durable and standardized. Lockout devices use color, warning labels or tags, and a physical barrier to temporarily prohibit machine operation or power activation, and reduce accidents, during maintenance or repair. Lockout hasps are often used to secure energy sources in the off position during maintenance or repair when multiple workers are on the job. They consist of one shackle that can be locked closed by one or more padlocks, providing the ability to use multiple padlocks in a place where only one shackle will fit. Couldn't get a lock on item as not enough space, but this hasp was able to go on item, and then lock on it. Provides more protection than nothing at all.

Okay product. It is much flimsier than I thought it would be but it was still a great edition to our escape room lock collection. Good for adding multiple layers of locks to a single chest in an escape room.

Solid jaws, good scissor mechanism, won't stop a freight train but follows all LOTO regulations properly. I bet my life on it, and it does it's job properly.

Very well made, solid, simple works on multiple devices. You can lock out electrical panels, skyjacks (battery switch) etc. Good size

I used this lock hasp for a breakout box. As soon as I picked up the lock hasp I could feel that it was a strong and sturdy build hasp. The two piece build was extremely maneuverable and easy to use for the breakout box. This Lock Hasp could be used for multiple different things such as suitcases that you may be keeping valuable items in. Personally, I found it to be a fun and easy way to have multiple locks such as word locks and key locks attached to it for students to break out of. After about a month of still using this hasp I have found it to still be in perfect condition and working amazingly! I would advise this for almost all settings as long as the locks are the right size.*if my review is helpful, please let Amazon know by hitting the YES helpful button :)

These are made by American Lock, not Master. They work fine for LOTO, The people that understand that comment know what I am talking abpout. These are for saving peoples lives, not some game. Try and be safe.
