Light quit working after 5 weeks on this. I don't know if I'll try replacing it with a different kind, as I didn't get enough use from it to form an opinion on it's effectiveness.Update:I was sent a new unit and it's still working fine.It seems to be relieving the pain and inflammation in my knees, so I've upgraded my review to 4 stars.

I have a chow that suffers from hip problems. I’ve heard about laser light therapy that might help with his circulation, but the treatments or device were too expensive.I like that this has 4 power level settings and a timer so I don’t have to second guess as to how long to apply the treatments. The device is relatively small, cordless and makes no noise to freak out my dog and I can apply it anytime, even when snuggling with him while watching TV.I’ve been applying this for a few weeks, and have noticed that he’s able to go up and down the stairs much easier (instead of one step at a time).

This is one of those things that, first of all, can be difficult to judge if it is helping, and, secondly, takes a great deal of time to use. I didn't want to use it on my dog without knowing how it worked. The instructions state it can be used on humans so I did give it a try. My problem is I have a great deal to do so trying to find time (and patience!) to sit for 20 minutes and apply this to the affected area is hard. It takes consistency. I do think there has been some improvement. I have been trying it on my dog as his hips have gotten bad with age. He doesn't seem to mind it but again, it takes time as you also need to keep it up. So there are pros and cons. Ultimately the decision is to whether the time involved is available.

This is an amazing tool. So far I notice some relef. The red light is proven for smoother skin, pain relief and a other help. I havde just been introduced to this tool so I am still learning. Comes with instructions.

I ordered this cold laser therapy device to use on my pets and livestock. I did some research and am impressed with the type of technology this therapy device provides. I have used it on my senior dog and it has helped with his age-related mobility issues. This device does not cause pain to the animals when treating them. I am using it at home with directions from my vet. I will recommend this MBBQNN Cold Laser Therapy Device to friends.
