It's 4 yrs later! My chime has been tested by teething babies, hit with rattles bang around by toddlers dropped down the stairs oh even washed in machine accidently & still in tact along with it's tool. Very sturdy I'm going to purchase another one as a gift for a friend.

I suppose this is for personal use only because the loudness is not as I hoped it would be for my full class. It still does attract my students' attention, albeit on the third or fourth try. I like having this around for my to use personally and with my students, as well.
