I had high hopes for the Beotyshow Men’s Cable Knitted Pullover Sweater. From the pictures, it looked like the kind of timeless, dashing piece that would make me feel like a leading man in a winter romance movie. Unfortunately, reality hit harder than a snowball to the face.First off, the look: yikes. The sweater was more "bargain bin reject" than "classic cable-knit." The fabric had an odd sheen that screamed "plastic," and the design? Let’s just say the twist pattern looked more like a tangled mess than a deliberate style choice. I’ve seen old fishing nets with more aesthetic appeal.The feel was the real heartbreak. Instead of soft, cozy warmth, it felt like I was wearing a sweater woven from straw. Every movement was a scratchy reminder of why I should’ve spent a little more—or shopped elsewhere. Thermal? Sure, if thermal means trapping your frustration and discomfort instead of heat.If you’re looking for a sweater that will turn heads, this one might work—but only because people will wonder what happened to your outfit. Save your money and your skin. This one’s a hard pass.

It's so great to make a purchase that far exceeds your expectations. This sweater is beautifully crafted, and like much more expensive sweaters, the back of the sweater has beautifully sculpted cables just like the cable pattern on the front. If you notice details about clothing, you know that cheaper sweaters usually have plain backs, a dead give away that they are less well made. I ordered one of these from my husband and he liked it so much, I ordered two more in different sizes. He is 6' tall and weighs 185-- an XL was a perfect fit. So pleased with this purchase!
