This is a good little sander,it works well as a finishing sander. But, it is pneumatic and spins at half the speed of the electric $700 Mirka sander I am retiring after 8 years of hard use. If you haven't tried a Mirka, you don't know what you are missing. Now I am going to order a new electric Mirka

I've been a sheetmetal finishing grinder for almost 20 years now & I have used many orbital sanders in that time.Dynabrade has been a mainstay in my tool box for years now,but after some research on Mirka sanders I decided to give them a try,& so far [ after some torture testing ] I call it, I'm very impressed.I would recommend it to anyone who uses DA sanders as much as I do,[almost everyday],& for the price, you can't go wrong.

Unbalance designed...If you already used 3M finishing sander, you won't like this one...

Super sander. Very smooth, orbital pattern is great for 150-220 grit sandpaper.ALMOST as good as my Dynabrade.

Light weight, little or no vibration. I was also able to use on a small compressor (2hp, 26 gallon IR Type), and for the most part it worked fine. I would recommend a larger compressor for a large project, but I have a small garage and really don't have the 240 outlet or the room for a large compressor, and was able to completely go over an 89 Mustang.
