Installation Steps:
1. Remove the blocked pipe.
2. Remove the old housing (at the connecting pipe on the right side and the four fixing screws).
3. Discard the old housing and spring (including the gasket).
4. Install the new stainless steel spring.
5. Install a new gasket on the new shell and fix it (at the connecting pipe on the right side and the four fixing screws).
Note:
Reinstall the fuel regulator cover, being cautious not to pinch the gasket.
Do not overtighten the bolts, the aluminum threads will strip easily; tighten just enough to seat the cover gasket completely.

I put everything together and had leaking now I use liquid gasket to stop leaking now I still got to get another one better then this one I really wish they use better seals and o rings to make it seal better

I ordered this to replace my entire fuel pressure regulator, 2 of the 4 holes that are used to mount the regulator to the fuel filter housing were too small. So i was going to try to open the hole just a bit, after inspection the holes were unable to be redrilled without damage to the regulator

Purchase this because of the previous reviews and the need. Plus it looks pretty handsome, it does not fit the factory mount, there are three protruding screw receivers that do not mount inside the aluminum housing of this unit. A complete waste of time and tear down

My 6.0l excursion has always ran great. I bulletproofed it about 6 years ago before it blew any gaskets. I noticed it seemed to be starting a little slower and felt a little sluggish. I have never touched anything on the fuel system so I figured I would give this a try. I installed it the night before towing a 7000lb trailer 350 miles. I boxed up the oem parts to bring with just in case. The tolerances are very tight. At first I didn't think it would fit but after lining it up perfect it slid on. The seat that the spring/poppet seats into was cracked so I'm glad this kit came with a new one. While not drastic, the pep I felt like my truck was missing came back. Throttle response feels deliberate and not laggy like it was. Made the 700 mile round trip in 100* heat without issue. I did a full service with synthetic fluids and premium filters throughout the whole truck. This felt like the last piece of the pie. Hopefully after all this it will last another 300,000 miles.
