These shelves are great, we have one installed in each of our showers (3) in our house. They are very strong (I tested by pulling myself up just by using the shelf) and they are super easy to clean with the actual plastic tray just clicking out. No-rusting, nice, smooth and profession looking. Highly recommend

Oh so handy and not at all institutional looking. My husband is disabled and I purchased this for our shower along with the long, straight version in the same style. We were in the process of remodeling the shower when I purchased them so I had the builder install studs in the walls so we could screw right into the studs. This prevented us having to drill a huge hole that is not repairable. If we sell the house and the new owners don't like this they can just remove the screws and fill in the small screw holes with grout. We went with white subway tile for the shower and these coordinate SO WELL with the tile and the new, chrome shower head. I believe these also come in brushed nickel but you could also spray paint them to coordinate with your decor.After reading several reviews that water collects in the shelf portion, I had our builder drill small holes in the shelves, thus completely eliminating that problem. Maybe Moen will consider drilling the holes in the factory so the shelf functions better? Just food for thought Moen.The only drawback is that it does not come with mounting screws. Moen wants you to use the enclosed anchors which is probably because they don't want to be liable if someone installs this into drywall and it doesn't hold up. Screws are inexpensive though so I bought some and, as I said, had the builder screw into studs. It's working quite well.

Great hand rail love the idea of the incorporated wall anchors and it was the selling point for me.When installing these it should be mentioned that in previous reviews some were drilling holes in the soap dish which is completely unnecessary. The soap dish is lower in the corner and higher in the front. If installed and leveled correctly it will drain well on its own. No extra holes are needed. This is not mentioned in the manual.

This tucks in the corner holding all my shower "stuff". I can also use it to hold on to if I feel unstable. All the usefulness of a grab bar without the ugly.

Needed to put in a grab bar that I could use as a functional piece with a shelf to hold toiletries. Works great!! Used 4 simple 1/4” toggle bolts, bought separately, instead of the single large bolt provided with the Moen curved grab bar.
