We bought 3 Moen support bars for our master bath remodel. The color and size were perfect and were relatively easy to install. However after one month of use one of the bars in the shower started dripping rusty water. See pictures. The screws are supposed to be stainless steel which means no rust! These are installed in a shower! My husband is going to replace the screws in all of the bars just to be sure this doesn't reoccur. We expected Moen quality to be superior to off brands. What good is a product built for a bath area if the mounting screws rust and stain the tile and grout? We'd like to hear from Moen about this.

This bar is a great addition to our bathroom. I have arthritis in my back & ankles and have issues with my feet falling asleep if I’m sitting somewhere, be it a chair or the toilet, and my feet don’t reach the ground. My husband installed this in about an hour. It’s very thick & sturdy, the color is a nice dark brass that matches our toilet paper holder. It has grooves in the metal, perhaps for finger grips, but I just hold onto to the bar. I was surprised how nice it looked when it was installed. We should have gotten one sooner.I’m only 4’11”, which is why it is hung so low, in case you’re wondering why it’s so close to the toilet paper roll :)I’m the second picture you can see the grooves I mentioned.I definitely recommend this bar.

Excellent product. Have many Moen grab bars in our home. Easy to install ( if you have studs or backing in the walls). Strong to support my weight. The brushed nickel finish is very nice looking. Very satisfied.

Worked well in our powder room for occasional elder visitor. Carpenter brother installed it at a 45 degree angle — not ADA compliant but my powder room is not regulated. Thankfully. Found the idea on a handyman YouTube video. The special anchor system for this unit is definitely the way to go because one cannot be so lucky to end up on a set of studs. Super sturdy for mom and uncle.

This product has held up to the high standards that I have come to expect from Moen over the years especially being a granddaughter of a successful high-end plumbing business owner. What I love specifically about this product besides the quality & its relatively inexpensive price is how the serrated part of the bar is not noticeable. This makes the fixture look more decorative than functional even though the functional feature is what I desired. So not only did I get a product that is going to help me not to fall and further injure myself (I'm a 41 yrd old female with 14 herniated discs) but it also looks beautiful in my shower!!

this grab bar is easy to install and very sturdy. the colour makes it good to use anywhere in the homewithout looking out of place ,(I have used same bar twice so far).the only thing that bothered me was that the protective wrap on the covers did not protect the bar from scratching of the finish.I had to cover the bends in the bar with tape to preventscratches. other than that I would not hesitate to order more of them in the future.M.E.S. Thunder Bay On.
