Good quality price, to install just plug it in and you’re done. It’d pretty big so may have a hard time fitting something else in the other electrical socket when in use. Makes a loud beeping noise when you remove it from the socket. We bought this as a safety mesure for our cottage where we use propane for cooking and heating.

I've had this in the kitchen for my father ever since he left the unignited stove on for hours. Seemed to work for a few months less than 10 months using it...it goes off every time it's plugged in. Got a new stove...it did not matter. Called out tech to check for leaks...none. moved to different rooms where no appliance is near....goes crazy sounding alarm. Unit is clean, humidity levels well under specified parameters....just a bogus alarm. Don't waste your money.

Not sure for the accuracy because it hasn't gone off. But everything else I'm extremely happy with as far as setup and easy to read.

Don't know yet if it actually detects gas leaks and I hope I never find out.But setup was a piece of cake.

The device was very easy to install. The directions were easy to understand and follow. However it didn't work for my purposes. It failed to detect a gas leak from the back my new stove although it was plugged in 2 feet away from the stove. I'd say it was just a random draft thing, which would be bad enough, but two other brands were able to detect the leak from much further away and even in other rooms.
