This little amp is a great way to repurpose old speakers into a Bluetooth or desktop setup. It delivers solid sound for its size and price, with multiple input options and a compact build. The automatic input switching is a nice touch, though the short power cables and lack of tone controls might be drawbacks for some. Still, for an affordable, space-saving upgrade, it’s a solid pick.

Reasons To Buy+ An inexpensive way to upcycle a spare set of speakers into Bluetooth or computer speakers.+ Has a 3.5mm input (analog), a USB input (digital from your PC) and Bluetooth+ Sound quality is very good to my non-audiophile ears+ Good build quality+ Gets pretty loud, especially for the size+ Automatically switches inputs based on what's plugged in. If nothing is plugged in, it defaults to Bluetooth+ Physical on-off switch allows you to use it with a smart switch+ Sounds great for its price and size+ Class D amplifier allows it to have a tiny footprint without sacrificing sound qality+ Includes a USB-A to Micro cable, an RCA to 3.5mm cable, as well as a 3.5mm male to male cable+ Small enough to be mounted to a desk with double sided tape. I have already been using one of these since 2018 for my desk setup, mounted to one of the legs of my standing desk. It sounds great with bookshelf speakers.+ 5 way binding posts for speaker connectivity+ Very affordable. Hard to beat for its price.Nitpicks / Hit or Miss* The PC sound connector is Micro-USB, which is a little sad for something sold in 2025. Having said that this amplifier has been sold for years, and is a well known amplifier.* It's a little bigger than a lot of class D amplifiers. I didn't crack open the case to look inside, so I don't know what type of amplifier this is, as I didn't see any information in the product description.* The power cable is a little short, but easily fixed with a barrel adapter extension (separate purchase)Reasons Not To Buy- No remote control- No tone controls- No subwoofer output- While it sounds great, it's not audiophile quality- The power supply's cables (to the wall, and to the amp) are laughably short. You can fix it by getting extension cables for both, but those are an extra cost.- Depending on your use case, the setup might not be too clean. It's so tiny that the connections are spread from the front and back. If you're using a cable for input, you're going to have cables coming from the front and back of the unit.- The on-off switch ain't pretty- You need something more powerful.
