This rotary blade tool is awesome and easy to use. Really sharp blades, made in Japan... You can see the quality of the blade. Almost like katana quality... Hehe. Nice tool.

ich habe zu meinem Geburtstag eine Schneidematte bekommen. Normalerweise hatte ich alles immer mit der Schere geschnitten, aber für die Schneidematte bietet es sich an, ein Cuttermesser für Stoff zu benutzen.Da es mein erstes Cuttermesser war und ich bisher keine Erfahrung damit hatte, wollte ich nicht direkt das teurere Prymmesser kaufen, damit ich mir überhaupt erst mal ein Bild machen kann.Das Messer kommt in einer simplen Verpackung, die absolut ausreichend ist.Mit einer Hand kann ich es "entriegeln", so dass die Klinge frei ist und benutzt werden kann. Aber Achtung hier: die Klinge ist wirklich sehr scharf und man muss darauf achten, dass man sie korrekt hält. Ich habe mir gleich zu Anfang einen kleinen Schnitt zugezogen.Was mir noch gut gefällt, ist die Größe der Klinge. Damit kann ich recht enge Kurven und Kreise sauber ausschneiden. Und die Klinge geht gut (bei geraden Schnitten) durch 4 Lagen Stoff, als wäre es durch Butter.Die Lieferung von diesem Cutter hat ein paar Tage länger gedauert als die Lieferung des Cutters mit der 45 mm- Klinge, das hat aber beim Produkt dabei gestanden, daher war ich vorbereitet.Für Hobby- und ProfinäherInnen eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Glides around chopping everything in its path! I absolutely love using this to cut leather. It is very tiny - it is mostly big enough to go through 8-9oz veg tan leather but I am buying the 45mm as well now to make it a little easier. Absolutely wonderful for cutting leather however.I also played around with it on regular paper, very nice. I used it to cut some sandpaper, and really a lot of things. I even used it to cut the tag off a shirt and got a really good form since I would roll it exactly where I needed!Truly a versatile little tool. If you're going to be cutting anything over about 4-5mm I would definitely look at getting the 45mm one instead.

I originally purchased the larger variant of this cutter and found that I needed a slightly smaller blade for more smaller details that the larger blade was a little too large for. I purchased this rotary cutter for use with paper stencils and fabrics and it has been a great piece of kit.The blades are nice and strong so don't flex when applying pressure to them and therefore dont stray off line when cutting. The blade turns freely with a small amount of friction which is nice as it prevents accidental slips. The retractable blade guard is simple yet effective, you slide it back to use the blade and push it forward to cover the blade edges from being exposed. There are "grip strips" on either edge of the handle near the blade to rest your finger or thumb on when cutting giving you more control of the cutter and how much pressure you apply. The blades are very simple to change and not expensive either.A very good cutter and excellent value for money.

This was perfect for a Structured Bra Making course I took at the London College of fashion. Small and light weight enough for travel, super sharp and accurate for cutting small pattern pieces, and no worries about cutting myself because it has a safety guard.

I have several rotary cutters and a few different styles. Olga is one of the best.This is cutter is being used to cut out garment fabrics. It replaces the exact same one that I now use to cut out garment patterns that I have drafted.I label my rotary cutters with a marking pen so that I do not mix them up. Moderately worn blades are kept for paper cutting.
