Like a normal planer it has a lot of snipe when grain changes direction. The motor could be a bit stronger. It bogs down with hardwoods. The digital game works good. You can set it up multiple ways. I wish there was an easy way to scale your cuts... Might be user error...

Digital readout of thickness is useful. Seems to be well built and works great.
