What's the use of a magnetic head if it can't hold the nail. Wiggle-wiggle can be dangerous.As indicated in the video, you have to get the nail started in order for the tool to do it's job. That means holding shorter nails with needle nose pliers. And even then, the nail will squirm around until it's fairly set.Seems like a good idea, but probably more doodling around than it's worth, so for me it's a 3-star tool at best because it's battery operated.If you just can't access with a hammer or simply don't have the strength or skill to use a hammer, and in that instance it would be a 5-star tool.So let's call it a 4-star tool. I may keep it - perhaps I'll be in a tight space and it may prove useful ... or perhaps my wife will be doing some framing -maybe.

This is soo much effective in Driving nails accurately. I always struggle with nails bending when hammering them it. But this has eliminated that issue. Its light weight and i dont need to carry air compressor or hose woth me everywhere. Really made my life much easier.

Used it to drive about 500 8d nails to install hurricane clips in an attic. Worked great. Only complaint is that my 8d nails would not position very well within the magnetic holder- they flopped around alot. So setting a nail was a two handed operation. Seems to be high quality and can take some abuse.
