The sound quality was fine for the first month but now there is an echoing sound on the line when in use. Both myself and the other person on the phone can hear it. Super annoying. Also I received a used phone despite buying a new phone - all the batteries were loose in the box and when I called to complain Amazon simply told me that I was mistaken and it was a new phone. Very annoying - I wouldn't recommend!!

I recently received my Panasonic KX-TG273 telephone w/answering machine. So far, so good. I programmed it fairly easily and added handsets from my old Panasonic set. The display and the keys on the handset are clear. I just need a basic telephone system. I don't need to link my cell phone so I don't know how well that works. I don't have call display, etc., with my phone company so I can't comment on all of the features such as Talking Caller ID. I do wish that the handset would flash for new messages left on the answering machine, to make it easier to notice. Its doing what I need right now, so I'm happy with it.

Good phone, lighter and thinner than older ones. The speakerphone is a bit quieter.

I was hesitant to order, due to mixed reviews... but I've had other Panasonic products that I've been happy with. So I took a chance and bought this set. I've had these for months now and no issues. The quality feels good, excellent features... It reads out the names of the callers on the 2nd ring, so I know when it's the mother in-law... sound is so good it's like she's in the room. The battery life is great, last for hours on end... sometimes that's a good thing... sometimes you have to pretend the battery is low!

I was hoping there would have been a light that flashes so I could see someone was calling. I am up at 1:30 every morning so, the ringer's are turned off. Other than that, the phones work great!
