Thankfully Panasonic tech support assisted me in purchasing this timer timer for my bath fan. I had been having bad luck finding one up until now as there are certain requirements that couldn't be met with other timers that I had purchased at one of the big box stores, causing the fan to not work properly. Although the switch does not have Panasonic as the manufacturer, it does say on the box that it can be used with Panasonic fans which is correct so for anybody questioning this, it will work. I love the "per hour" feature of the switch which allows the fan to operate to expel air from the room, beyond what is removed during bathroom use. I set it for 10 minutes and every hour the fan will operate for that amount of time, keeping moisture to a minimum while circulating air. There are various time adjustments for this feature.

Factory set for 30 minute timer. We hooked it up to the fan and it works flawlessly. Only extra perk I would like to have had is to have the fan come on every time the light comes on too. Don't kett that deter you though it's a great piece of electronics.

How it works: The top button operates the light, the bottom button is for the fan or heater. The unit operates with 2 timers for the fan. There is a countdown timer you can set anywhere from 5-60 minutes. Then there's the Minutes Per Hour timer that will allow you to set anywhere from 0-60 minutes and it runs your fan for a set time every hour to expel stale air. The MPH timer also sees when you've used the countdown timer and knows not to run the fan for a while if you've already done it.The unit can be mounted single-gang or multi-gang. Must use #14 or #12 wire with hot/neutral/ground. There is a tool that comes with it that must be used to remove the cover over the timers so hope you don't lose the tool. The timer feels very cheap to the touch, not the sturdy plastic of my other switches. I hope it holds up.I had a hard time finding detailed information about this switch so I hope this review helps somebody else.

Item was broken out of the box, the light switch didn't function. Called the number on the box, a customer service person went through the settings and determined it was a problem with the product. He sent a replacement via 3-day shipping. The replacement unit works great. This is exactly what we needed. The top button switches the light, the bottom one turns on the fan. A hidden controller under the middle trim piece allows setting up an automatic turn off time. I hope it will be reliable. I will update this review if not.
