We have a 2019 Blackfin boat that has these receptacles (5 total) and one of them was out. We tested the wire, etc...and it was the unit that went bad. I was so happy to see them on Amazon instead of ordering them through the boat dealer which would have been 2x the price! It was very easy to replace, just needed a screwdriver...that's it!

Looking to add a 12 volt auto style receptacle to my RV without losing the USB charge ports. There are many to choose from, making this difficult. This comes with tight fitting rubber plug covers, designed for boating use. Not needed in an RV, however the manufacturer appeared to have good history. Not disappointed at all. Fit and finish are great, comes with panel attaching screws, a hole location template, and 4 insulated crimp on connector for the spade lugs. Installer has the option of separate feeds, or can wire with a jumper between contacts. Positive and negative are marked, just look for them, you don’t want them reversed.

The 5v chargers work ok. However, the 12v power jack has an oversize diameter and everything I plug in is very loose.

This USB charger Receptacle has held up well after several months in a marine environment. I use both sockets with multiple devices and have zero issues. My largest gripe is that the "+" and "-" connection labels are ridiculously small and hard to read. But, they are there if you look hard.TIP: DO NOT assume the "+" is on the same side for the USB and the socket. On the unit I received, the socket and the USB "+" connections were on opposite sides. Be careful, if you get this wrong you can damage your gear.Minus a star for making it harder than needed.
