I recommend that you purchase this kit for your Pentaire products. The OEM kit works as designed with less chance of leaks.

Between aftermarket and oem. It might cost a little more for oem (Pentair) but it's a perfect fitment and better quality. The previous kit I bought was aftermarket and used with the replacement motor I installed 6 months ago and the shaft seal (AS-1000 Seal) already failed.

Excellent to get.. no need to buy a new pump..until the motor dies..as long as the bearing and the motor is good this seal kit will save you spending 700 on a new pump. in 4 season weather... in 1 season weather the motor will only last 4yrs to 5yrs... in 4 seasons 12 to 16yrs... replace the "motor bearings" will last another 4 to 16yrs...IF you keep the pool pump outside exposed...replace every 6yrs if it lasts that long.
